... Arriving in Phu Quoc to celebrate the New Year, we found the last days of December. The weather was good, only one day there was a heavy but short tropical rain. In those days, a medium-sized typhoon hit South Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand - but we were lucky, he bypassed Phu Quoc Island.
