Where is the best place to relax in March in Thailand? Choose islands where the heat will not be felt so much due to the breeze and occasional rain (Koh Samui, Phuket, Pangon). It is good in the southern seaside resorts - Pattaya, Huahin, Krabi. But Bangkok, Chiang Mai and the northern provinces are covered with smog. It's very stuffy there - you better go to the sea.

Thailand's weather in April is still sunny and hot. The temperature in the resorts is up to +32 ... + 35 ° С, but the water does not refresh (+28 ... + 30 ° С). Humidity rises, but high temperatures are well tolerated by the sea. There are short showers, usually in the second half of the month. Because of the rains, the sea can be rough and muddy.
Where is the best place to relax in April in Thailand? Almost any resort is suitable: Phuket, Samui, Pattaya, Krabi, Ko Chang, Ko Lanta, Phangan. But in Bangkok, already stuffy, the temperature reaches + 40 ° C. Add to this the lack of rainfall and smog - a real steam room! The same goes for the north of the country.
We lived in Phuket on Patong Beach in April. Let's put it this way: the heat is worse tolerated than in March. The sea is no longer happy with such azure turquoise. Waves are rising. Thailand weather in May
Monsoons come in May and the rainy season begins. The locals are very happy with him. The air temperature and humidity are high in April (up to + 33 ° C in the daytime).
Where to go to rest? Pattaya is hot and rather dry - only 5-6 rainy days a month. Showers go for two hours a day. It rains a lot on the Andaman coast, but Koh Samui is very dry.
What is good about rest in Thailand in May? Beaches are noticeably emptying, hotel rooms are getting cheaper, prices for excursions are falling. We lived in Phuket in early May and enjoyed beautiful skies with formidable cumulus clouds, heavy tropical showers, luscious jungle greenery and an abundance of cheap fruits. The rainy season has its own romance!
But swimming in the rainy season is dangerous because of jellyfish, large waves and rip currents. Be careful: if there is a red flag on the beach, you cannot swim.
